Thanks for acknowledging my post everyone. I check Diana's website
fairly often. I enjoy her postings. Miss Alida, I would love to read
those postings. Where on DG's website can I find them?

I also enjoy the Ladies of Lallybrough website, but they aren't that
great about updating. There are some funny Scottish sound bites on
there that I really got a kick out of.

Does anyone speculate on future story lines? Or is that no fun, just
wait for the book? Anyone have any thoughts on what Jamie and Claire
are going to do? Think they will stay in Scotland or will they hurry
back with his printing press and take it up to the Ridge? I can't
imagine them returning to the Ridge right away, they are supposed to be
dead, but I guess that won't matter since by the time they return to
America - Independence will have been won. Does anyone think Roger and
Bree (and children) will return to the past or will they stay at
Lallybrough? I love that they are living there.

Just some thoughts I wanted to get off my chest.

I'm not sure where on the Ladies of Lallybroch site (www.lallybroch.com)
you are checking when you say that "they aren't that great about
updating." The Social Board is updated constantly and, while lots of
the comments are not directly related to "The Books," most have to do
with at least something Scottish, lots of them very amusing. Those who
are fortunate enough to see or hear Diana Gabaldon speak are very good
about posting information and pictures for those of us who are not so
lucky. The Books Board starts with a Quote of the Day, which IS taken
from one of the books, followed by comments pertaining thereto. There
are several other Boards, too, all worth looking into. Possible future
story lines, for example, are often brought up in several places, with
the resulting responses both pro and con!

The Books and Writers Forum at Compuserve
(http://community.compuserve.com/n/pfx/forum.aspx?nav=start&webtag=ws-books)
includes a section specifically devoted to Diana Gabaldon. Another
section is called Research and Craft, and she is a co-section-leader for
that folder. These are the best places to find excerpts of her works
(although she will not post spoilers!), and frequent advice to writers,
explanations of how and why she herself writes, answers to questions
both about her books and other topics... These, too, are added to
several times a day, frequently by Diana herself.

In short, there IS information out there, you need only to know where to
look!
