Mini Series

Ok, this is probably a very stupid question, but I am stumped.
I am just reading Outlander (I know very late to jump on board).
Anyway, I my husband asked me what I was reading.
He then picked up the book, read the cover and then asked me if I had
seen the tv show.
I did not know about a tv show and told him he must be mistaken.
But he went and told me allot about the book, even stuff that I had not
got to yet and he does not read so there is no possibility that he read
the book.

I searched the internet and found that there was a mini series being
planned, but did not find anything other than that.

Can someone let me know if there ever was a mini series made.

Your husband is probably thinking of the TV series called "Highlander" with
Adrian Paul as Duncan McLeod. The series was based on the movie "Highlander"
with Christopher Lambert as Connor MacLeod. There were four movies and the
fifth is currently in post production I believe. My husband loves these
kinds of shows and I enjoyed them as well. When Outlander came out, I made
him read it and he really likes the books too but they are different than
Highlander.
