I am trying to figure out if my copy of "Outlander" is a first edition
or not. I read how to identify if it's a first edition on Diana's
website, and the quote is listed below for reference. Here's the
kicker... My copy doesn't have ANY Library of Congress information in
it! It is not missing any pages either. There is a page with publisher
information, copyright, trademark, and book design information, but
that's it. Nothing else. I'm currently re-reading "The Fiery Cross",
so turned to the front of that book, and there's all the info, just
like it's supposed to be. But "Outlander" has none of it. Any ideas or
suggestions about my little puzzle??
Thanks!
Claire

From Diana's Website:
"So when people bring me hardcover Outlander to sign these days, I
always check, so I can tell them if they have a first edition. (In
case you're wondering, you can tell by looking at the page in the
front where it lists all the publisher/Library of Congress stuff in
fine print. There's a line of numbers at the bottom of the page,
running from 10 down to...well, if runs down to 1, you have a first
edition. If the number farthest to the right is a 2, you have a second
edition, and so on. And if you have a first edition and would like me
to sign it for you, I'd be happy to.)"
