Would Jamie "go to hell"?

WARNING - SPOILER ALERT

Here's something for a bit of discussion. Please be warned that my
intention is not to offend anyone with this particular question/topic!

Jamie has killed many people in his lifetime - sometimes in self defense,
other times to avenge a wrong doing (ie the men who abducted Claire - in
ABOSAA). We all know that he is a Catholic and believes in God.

So my question is do you think Jamie would go to hell for the killings he
has done? Does he "deserve" to go, just for the reason of killings alone?

Isn't there something in Voyager (after the print shop fire) about killing
being OK if it's done for valid or unavoidable reasons and is confessed?
The question would then be whether all of Jamie's killing is considered
justified, and whether he formally repents before his death. I don't know
enough about Catholicism to speculate on his deserts, being an atheist
myself :P

Perhaps he's going to hell for keeping a wife he believes to be a witch ;)

I think that Catholicism says that a confessed sin is an absolved sin if you
really are sorry and don't intend to do it again because you know it is
wrong. It also says that killing is a mortal sin.

I just hope that there is a priest around for Jamie to confess and get
blessed before he dies.
