Hello:

I have just become a subsrciber and have enjoyed reading all your
posts. Everything everyone has said is so true. I came across the
series at my mothers cottage, while the girls and I were spending some
time there with her. She is a great lover of books and the bigger
the better in her eyes. I picked up Outlander to take to the beach
for the afternoon. the girls swam, I read. I got so catch up in
the story that the girls were asking Me if we could go back to the
cottage for supper. LOL. I have read them all a million times. I
even got my Mom to read the rest of them. She had only read the first
one.

Anyway, if there is any one who would like to talk about this great
series. I am all for it. I was looking for something to do while I
wait for the next book, and I think I found it.

Hi Angela!

Welcome to the group!

I have read all of the books numerous times too and I never get tired of
them. Each time I re-read them, I find some new little detail that I had
overlooked or forgotten. The characters are just so "real". Diana has done
an awesome job with this series. I can't wait for the next book. I'm
hoping that there will be another after that. I just don't want Jamie and
Claire's story to end.

Have you read any of the excerpts from the next book? I am really looking
forward to finding out about Roger and Bree and the children at Lallybroch
and also Jamie and Claire and how Lord John fits in to that. Will they ever
tell him about the time travel? Will they come across any other time
travelers?

I know at one time Diana said that she was going to write a prequel about
Jamie's parents and also a story about Master Raymond. I think that both of
those would be really interesting.

Well, I've got to run. I hope you enjoy discussing things here with us.

I know what you mean. I just finished re-reading Voyager again. I
hadn't realized that when Jamie and Claire were sitting around the
fire after parting with Ian and Meyers. and the bear comes after the
fish that the bear lands on Claire at one point. Diana gives such
life to their relationship. It makes you wonder if there is a love
like that in real life.

I read somewhere that Master Raymond is a relative of Claire. it
would be great if that is all explained. I would love to know about
Jamie's parents. I am also hoping that Diana explaines what is
going on with Loganshire too. you just love to hate her for what she
did to Claire.

I am looking forward to the new book. I hope it doesn't take to long
to come out. I would like to know what actually happened with Ian
and Emily also. they hinted on it in ABOSAA but there is so much
mystery around it still. I haven't read any of the exserpts yet,
are they good? and were do I find them? I have only just started out
on the internet and surffing that I am still a bit green.

I better get to bed I have work in the morning.
