Hi,
Has anyone read the new book yet? What did you think? I was disappointed
to see how few pages are in it after we were blessed with such big tomes
before this. I'm also very glad to hear about the other books she's signed
to write. I had thought that maybe Jamie & Claire were done for, but was
hoping for the war follow-up though since that was hinted about in the last
book.

Considering that Ms. Gabaldon was commissioned to write a short story, I was
very pleased with the outcome.(g) I enjoy the John Grey character and this
book shed some more light on an old favorite. I'm looking forward to the
next installment.

I do wish that I had read the first one, was it called Hellfire? Wasn't it
only available as a download? I think I need to do some research here.lol

I just saw Hellfire as part of a cooperative book on sale on eBay yesterday.
If you go there and put in Gabaldon Hellfire you'll probably come up with
it.

I just finished Lord John, and enjoyed the nice, easy read. It was
like catching up with old friends. :)

I missed Hellfire when it was online, but found it at my library as a
CD Book ... have a hold request on it there.

I am SO looking forward to the next Jamie & Claire novel!

Thanks Angel. I just got a post from my library that Lord John is in for me
to pick-up. I'm finally doing the smart thing & at least starting new books
from the library if I can. Sometimes, especially for short books like this,
it isn't worth paying for the book until you can get it used. At least
that's my opinion. Of course, I do have all the big Outlander series books
at home. I'll probably end up buying Lord John as well later on.
