SPOILER
So, by the end of ABoSaA, Lord John knows that there's something to
know about Bree, Roger, and Claire, but I saw no indication that Bree
got around to telling him before she went back through the stones. We
also know, from the excerpts from future books that used to be posted
on Herself's website (but apparently no longer are) that at some point
Jamie will be given up for dead (one assumes during the trip to
Scotland for his press) and John will marry Claire to protect her from
being arrested as a result of her pro-liberty statements.
I am of the opinion that at some point along the lines, John will find
out or be told the truth about the time-travelers, and will begin
contributing to the packet of letters to be left for Bree, Roger, and
the children. Responses, anyone?

PS -- I also hope that we'll get some more info in the next book on
Jemmy's first reactions to the 20th century.
